Cinnamon Apple Overnight Oats


Prep Time: 2 minutes | Chill Time: 8 hours | Total Time: 8 hours 2 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 and 1/2 cups rolled oats

  • 3/4 cup milk of choice

  • 3/4 cup nonfat Greek yogurt

  • 1 and 1/2 tsp chia seeds

  • 1 and 1/2 tsp flax seeds

  • 1 and 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

  • For topping: granola and apple slices

Instructions (yields 2 servings):

  • Mix 1/2 cup rolled oats with 1/4 cup milk, 1/4 cup Greek yogurt, 1/2 tsp chia seeds, 1/2 tsp flax seeds, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, a pinch of salt, and a squeeze of lemon juice in a small cup or container. Repeat with the remaining 2/3 of the ingredients.

  • Place oats in the fridge overnight.

  • In the morning, sprinkle 1 tablespoon of granola and apple slices on top of each cup of oats.
