Christmas Gin Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • For the ice cubes:

    Orange slices

    Cranberries

    Rosemary

    Water

  • For the cocktails:

    10oz prosecco

    3oz gin

    Juice from 1 small lemon

    1oz simple syrup, optional

    8oz sparkling water

  • For the mocktails:

    Sub prosecco and gin for sparkling cider

Instructions (yields 2 drinks):

  • Combine all ice cube ingredients in an ice cube tray. Cover and freeze overnight until fully set.

  • When ready to serve, remove the ice cubes from the freezer and place one cube into each of two glasses.

  • Evenly divide the prosecco between the glasses.

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Shake vigorously, then strain evenly into each glass.

  • Top with sparkling water to fill, stir gently, and enjoy!
